Nexus Market exit scam β October 2026
Nexus does not work. Do not deposit. Do not log in to any page still using the name. Onion addresses have been removed from Darken Info.
Public monitoring notes and community posts in early October 2026 describe Nexus Market as an exit scam, not a short outage. Reports cluster around 2 October: mirrors stopped loading, withdrawals stalled, and escrow balances were described as drained. There was no seizure banner and no PGP-signed farewell of the kind markets sometimes publish when they close on purpose.
What the reports agree on
- The market had been a large, multi-mirror desk with autoshop and BTC, XMR, and LTC mentioned in older notes. Size is why the exit hurt: money sitting in escrow or a market wallet has nowhere to go once operators go quiet.
- Around 7 October, separate desks reported that private keys for Nexus onion addresses had leaked. That means an old bookmark can resolve to a phishing copy that looks right in the address bar.
- Clearnet pages still advertising a βNexus market linkβ after that date are either stale or hostile. Darken Info no longer prints those hosts.
Directory status
The Nexus status page stays up as an offline notice. Onion addresses were removed during the 20 October maintenance and are not coming back with the rest of the link list. A post that says Nexus has reopened is not a reason to treat an old bookmark as live.
